Solaris is a newly built house of character located in the village of Nadur. It is finished to a very high standard and is comfortable, luxurious, cool and spacious yet charmingly old- fashioned. The rustic stone walls and mosaic tiles, wooden beams, the Gozo marble and wrought iron staircase, another wooden staircase, old fashioned iron beds, a great number of arches and antique pottery create the right atmosphere for your holiday.
The entrance hall leads to the central courtyard from where the light is filtered everywhere by the coloured-glass panel doors creating a soft lively atmosphere in the daytime and remodeled at night by rustic uplights and lanterns.
The rustic stone fully equipped kitchen, combine a touch of the 19th century charm to today’s efficiency. A convenient breakfast table (seats 4) is also found in the kitchen.
The living room which stretches across the full width of the ground floor is a light-drenched beauty. Sun streams through the floor-to-ceiling bay windows hitting the rustic bare walls creating a feeling of warmth and cosiness.
A huge arc framed with a soft coloured pelmet separate the living from the dining area. The dining area (seats 6) is easily the most beautiful spot in the house, where one can sit and dine romantically enjoying the reflection of the moon on the pool. This spot also affords beautiful country and sea views (particularly San Blas Bay).
The pool is of a good size 25 feet x 12 feet. The pool deck is of considerable size. It is well equipped with a barbeque area, garden furniture (table and chairs), 6 deck chairs and a large umbrella. The pool deck overlooks a lovely garden.
The master bedroom is at the back of the house. It is charming with the bed so placed that the occupants command lovely country and sea views during the day and the moon and stars at night.
